Winterland is a brand new festival set to take over CarriageWorks this July!

An ice rink will be set up to bring (euro-style) winter to Sydney, as well as a huge arts and cultural event.  With a series of 18 live music events featuring over 100 local and emerging musicians, playing in over 40 bands.

Leeloo‘s buddies over at The Finders Keepers are curating a winter market of stalls featuring design, art, craft, vintage and fine foods.  Stalls will be a mixture with something different to see each week.  With a specially designed menu of alpine cuisine at the bar and cafe, you can even set yourself up with some ice skating lessons.

Winterland is free to attendyou only have to pay to ice skate – and the event is family-friendly with a specially designed Saturday afternoon events schedule for kids and parents.

Now for those markety-types out there, submissions are currently open for stallholders.  Unlike the Finders Keepers events the selection criteria is very different for the Winterland Markets with the lovely curators looking for stallholders to sell wintery products that are either new, established, second hand, food or products – as long as it’s “winter-based, high quality and well presented.

Head over here to submit to be included in the market and for further information on dates and times available.
