Tonight from 6pm (Wed 9th June) head to Global Gallery for the opening night of a new exhibition featuring the works of Sydney-based artist Linus Dean (examples shown).
From the artist:
“I derive my inspiration from the art and typefaces of the illustrated annuals of the 50′s and 60′s - the golden age of pen and ink. I love isolating and re-situating these classic drawings and words to create a whole new perspective. There is no hidden meaning to my art. It just looks cool.”
Alongside artworks by Mike Priddy and ChuPa Willy, you can pop over and check out the exhibition in Sydney’s Paddington until June 20th. Head to the gallery web site for more details.
