Craft & Quilt Fair
Today the Sydney Exhibition Centre at Darling Harbour prepares to open it’s doors to a throng of crafty peeps for the annual Craft & Quilt Fair. Also incorporating the Decorative Art Sale & Exhibition, the Sydney Quilt Show and the Sydney Bead Show, you can pick yourself up some supplies for your crafty hobbies, check out demonstrations and learn new skills in free workshops.
Expect to get a bundle of info on all things to do with textile art like embroidery, beading, knitting, sewing and heaps more. Demonstrations include fabric printing and dyeing, and you can pick up tips on creating contemporary jewellery or rediscover traditional arts.
Open from today, Wednesday June 16th until Sunday June 20th, tickets can be purchased for one day or take your time and grab one of the multi-day passes, plus you can buy them online in advance to avoid queues. Doors open at 9am and close at 5pm, with parking and public transport options available nearby. Check the web site for more details.
