MeMeMe

So as you few of you might know from my own blog, that I was born and raised in South Africa until the age of 17 where me and my family immigrated to New Zealand.  (If some of you aren’t familiar with my blog called Polli blog go ahead and check it out here.)  And since I am living in Qatar at this moment I got in touch with some of my African roots and discovered this amazing brand called MeMeMe.

MeMeMe is a much loved boutique and emporium that stocks the best of Ready to Wear South African designer clothing, accessories, shoes and handbags.

With this particular brand I just love the vintage pastel colors coming through on these beautiful African girls.  They just look like dolls!  It actually reminds me of this singer called Kimbra, a New Zealander who moved to Melbourne about 3 years ago and has  made her debut in Australia.   This music video called “I want to settle down” have the same sort of effect in the photography and styling. Click here to check out her video.

Hi! I used to live in Doha too! Many years ago, and I went to the Doha College. It seems there is lots more good stuff there now – there wasn’t much at the time.
