Growing up, Aaron Ruff was fascinated with the concept of hidden treasures and unearthing ancient relics. Created in 2006, the Digby & Iona title stems from a trip to Nova Scotia taken prior to the creation of the company, with Ruff chosing to name his company after two quiet seaside towns in the area.
Now working from his Brooklyn studio, Ruff creates jewellery inspired by everything from history and literature, to the design of nature and tools of necessity. The new Digby & Iona collection Me & My Arrow draws inspiration from pre-history and quality materials.
