Georgie Swift and Milenka Osen created TMOD after completing their Design studies together at The College Of Fine arts (COFA, UNSW) in 2007. TMOD is a driven by a desire to design without constraints, merging boundaries and challenging the expectations of functionality and purpose.
TMOD specialises in experiential multidisciplinary design, using a combination of materials and processes. This amalgamation of the fields of design, including fashion, object and graphics, focuses on interaction and creates a playful sense of experience, with elements of the unexpected.
TMOD’s interactive stationary includes cards that fold out, spin, pop out, threaded with ribbons and their infamous scratchie cards, featuring whimsical old world illustrations.
In 2009 TMOD featured in the top 10 for The SOYA Spirit Of Youth Awards for emerging creative talent, in the Industrial & Object Design category.
