The Likkle Girl Who Wurves Pwetty Things is, in actual fact and in adult-speak, a not-so-little-girl who loves pretty things, to collect and to create. Her accidental foray into making something near-pretty was at the tender age of six, when she was sent to live on Grandma’s farm during her summer break.
To stop her precocious grandchild from teasing the farmyard animals and climbing trees, Grandma busted out her sewing box-of-tricks and started the Likkle Girl on her first project. They both have not looked back since – Grandma is pleased that she has made a semblance-of-a-girl out of that goose-chasing tomboy and the Likkle Girl has graduated from that very first chain stitch to creating pieces that sometimes require more than sewing skills (She is very scared of the sewing machine, by the way, so all her pieces, if sewing is required, are lovingly hand-stitched. She blames it on Grandma’s old machine which gnawed on her fingers once).
While the Likkle Girl is not a formally-trained designer-person, she hopes that the time she has spent in her creative day-jobs and her love for all-things popular culture-related translate into her work that you will wurve too.
