Melanie Swan combines shape, colour and texture to produce unique decorations for walls. Covered with vibrant combinations of paper and sometimes fabric, Melanie’s shapes can be positioned to suit your own décor.
The inspiration for Melanie’s designs comes from the materials themselves. The shapes are designed to showcase her growing collection of fabric and paper - the result of an obsession that started during her studies in Interior Decoration. It also allows her to experiment with different colour, pattern and texture combinations.
Melanie’s initial range featured the shape of a butterfly in various sizes, colours and designs. It has since expanded to include rings and discs covered in gorgeous combinations of Japanese paper as well as retro inspired paper.
Melanie loves the idea that people are able to position the shapes in a way that suits their space, in a way playing the final part of the creative process.
